Padavrttasana (Rotating Leg Pose)-1
Lie supine and raise the right leg and make a circle by rotating the leg in clockwise direction. It this way make 5-10 circles. After rotating in one direction, rotate the leg in opposite direction (anti-clockwise), then do the same process with the opposite leg. The whole process is called Pädavṛttäsana (Rotating Leg Pose)-1.
Padavrttasana (Rotating Leg Pose)-2
After doing this exercise with a one leg at a time, do it with both the legs simultaneously so as to rotate the legs up-down, right-left, in all the directions as much as one can. Rotating both the legs in clockwise and anticlockwise direction is called as Padavṛttāsana (Rotating Leg Pose)-2.
Benefit
It reduces the fat accumulated on the thighs, buttocks and waist and makes the abdomen light and firm. This is very good for stabilizing the body balance.
