Siris

Grind equal quantities of its seeds along with black pepper in goat’s urine. Use this mixture as eyeliner for eyes. It cures tridoshaj unconsciousness.

Take equal quantities of siris seeds, liquorice root, aasfoetida, garlic, ginger root, sweet flag root and kooth. Grind them all in goat’s milk and prepare eyeliner. Use this for nasya and also as eyeliner. It cures psychosis.

2. Grind Siris seeds with seeds of Indian beech and apply the paste. It cures anxiety, hysteria and eye disorders.

1.Use the juice of its leaves as eyeliner. It cures the eye pain.

2.In case of night blindness give decoction of its leaves and also use its juice as eyeliner. Soak a piece of cloth in juice of its leaves and let it dry. Dip and soak the cloth three times. Burn this cloth in jasmine oil and prepare black powder. Apply this powder in eyes. It improves eye sight.

Heat the juice of its leaves along with juice of mango leaves and put a few drops of the lukewarm juice in the ears. It cures the ear pain.

Give the decoction of its root for gargles. Also give the powder of its root to be used to brush the teeth. It cures the disorders of gums sand also makes the teeth strong.

Give decoction of its bark to the patient. It cures swelling due to ascites.

Mix the ash of its leaves in ghee or oil and apply. It cures the disorder.

Apply the paste of its bark. It cures the swelling of testicles.

1. Grind and strain its 10 gm leaves, mix sugar candy in it and give this to the patient, every morning and evening. It cures dysuria.

2. Mix the oil from its seeds with diluted milk and give this to the patient. It cures dysuria.

3. Mix its gum with black pepper powder and use this powder to brush the teeth. It cures tooth ache.

1. Grind its 6 gm seeds with 3 gm root of kaliyari in water and apply the paste on the affected area. It cures the boils of piles.

2. Apply its oil on the affected area.

3. Grind equal quantities of its seed.

4. Grind equal quantities of root of kalyari, dantimool, and chitrak. Apply this paste on piles.
