Vakrasana

Vakrasana (Sitting Lateral Twisting Pose)

Sit in Dandasana position and bend the right leg and place it near the left thigh (or place it on the other side of the knee). Keep the left leg straight, bring the left hand over the right leg and abdomen and place it near the right toe. Keep the right hand straight on the ground behind the back. Turn the neck to the right and look straight. In this way do it from the other side as well, it called as Vakrāsana (Sitting Lateral Twisting Pose). Repeat in 4-6 times.

Benefit

It reduces fat from the waist and buttocks. Very beneficial for diabetes, liver, spleen. Very beneficial asana for backache.
